    Good copy, but....

    The reproduction of this painting was reasonably good at a glance, but was somewhat disappointing upon closer examination. The amount of oil paint was skimpy, just barely covering the canvas in many spots. I had expected a more "lush" rendering, with thicker application of the medium. The picture is accurate, but lacks a little richness, especially when viewed at close range. Still, it's a stunner in the room. I could not have owned such a quality piece by shopping locally. Pros: Accurate copy Faithful to the original Cons: Skimpy volume of oil paint on canvas
