Maisons a Paris (Houses in Paris) is a cubist painting by Spanish artist, Juan Gris. The original was painted in 1911 and is on display at the Guggenheim Museum in New York. Juan Gris's works are among the Cubism movement's most distinctive paintings. At first Gris painted in the self-coined style of Analytical Cubism and in 1913 converted to Synthetic Cubism. Unlike Picasso and Braque, Gris painted with bright harmonious colors.
